Accounting Specialist

Job Responsibilities Overview

The accounting specialist will provide quality and timely accounting and support services to the accounting team. Requires general accounting knowledge. Responsibilities to include AR, GL account reconciliations, Purchase Order requests, monthly client invoicing, expense processing, and support Controller during the month-end and year-end close out processes. Responsible for tracking and maintaining all Vendor forms, COI’s and 1099 documents.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in accounting, finance, or related field or in lieu of a degree 4 years related experience in accounting or finance related position
  • High attention to detail
  • Intermediate level using Microsoft Suite products
  • 2 years full-cycle accounts receivable experience
  • Able to work in a digital or paperless environment
  • Able to sit for long durations of time
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint software
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams, O365, OneDrive
  • Experience applying GAAP
  • Experience working in a professional services industry
